The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4 by Sue Townsend ~ *Bonus* Book Review

Three Out Of Five Stars *** Link to this book on Goodreads:

I read this book fairly quickly inbetween other books, so I thought a little bonus review might be a good idea!

The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Ages 13 3/4 is written in the form of a diary, and it spans over the course of a year. During that year, Adrians’ mother has an affair with the neighbour, Adrian measures his ‘thing’, he also gets a girlfriend. Wonderful teenage stuff.

I borrowed this book out of my library for my tweleve year old brother, but it had a lot of adult content between its pages, so i think he’ll have to wait another year so that he can have the joy of reading this book.

It was quite funny. Not exactly hilarious, but funny nevertheless.

Overall verdict: Not as good as Diary of a Wimpy Kid even though Adrian Mole was written more than fifteen years earlier.

Star 😛
