Synopsis: It’s a brave new world. ‘My name is Kyle Straker. And I don’t exist anymore.’ So begins the story of Kyle Straker, recorded on to old audio tapes. You might think these tapes are a hoax. But perhaps they contain the history of a past world…If what the tapes say are true, it means that everything we think we know is a lie. And if everything we know is a lie does that mean that we are, too?

Before I begin this review….lets take a moment to gaze upon the cover before our eyes. Isn’t it amazing? I made the mistake of showing my family this book when we were eating dinner together. Not good. Don’t recomend that!
0.4 is a book of genius. Seriously, just give Lancaster a medal and be done with it! This book had everything in it! Hypnosis, aliens, romance, upgrades, and best of all…Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy inside jokes! [Dolphins. *Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink*]
You can’t really explain this book, so i’m not even going to try and attempt it. Therefore, this is going to be a short review!
The tape recorder was a great idea, most books are of someone writing in a diary or it’s their thoughts…(I’m sure theres a word for that.) Lancaster was original by trying to convey Kyles thoughts with a different format. The tapes also added a sense of mystery when they would stop and then the text would stop and we couldn’t follow along with Kyles thought.
The notes that were made by ‘Lancaster’ throughout the book gave us an insight into what the 0.4’s were thinking and how they ‘lived’.
I’m just saying, there’d better be a sequel, because there were just too many questions waiting to be answered. Oh right, yeah. Just check and there is a sequel! Yay! I’ll be wanting that!
I’ll be adding extra reviews this week! Thursday, Friday and Saturday! Make sure you follow me so you don’t miss out!
