Book Description:

Her first thought: “Who are you?”

It’s the morning after her cousin’s bachelorette party in Vegas and Megan Scott wakes up with the mother of all hangovers. Even worse, she’s in a stranger’s penthouse having woken up with something else as well – a funny, arrogant, sexy…husband!

Up until now, finding even a boyfriend had seemed impossible – been there, got the broken heart, sworn off men for good. Then a few martinis with Carter…no, Connor Reed and she’s gone from first meet to marriage in one night!

Megan wants a lawyer. But Connor’s shocking bombshell?

“I don’t want a divorce.”

My Review:

[This review was written at 11:00pm under the influence of Pepsi Max. This review contains nothing that you really want to read. But it’s my blog. So there.]

So…I was on NetGalley. And I was looking in the romance section. And I found this. And I thought this sounds utterly ridiculous and corny and cliché and there’s no way that I’m requesting this. So I requested it.

Sometimes you just need a little cliché in your novels so that you can escape from the serious-ness of other books and have a laugh! Fall in love with sexy, albeit married, men!

Waking Up Married is everything you expect it to be. A sexy, romantic, chick-lit that you can devour in a day.

Can’t really say much else about it. It’s free to read, so you might as well give it a go. Why not? If you don’t like it…blame me. Blame that girl on the internet. I can take it. I CAN TAKE YOUR BLAME.

Well, anyway. Thought I’d let you know my thoughts.

[Thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin KISS for providing me with an ecopy of this title in return for an honest review.]

With writing as her passion and inspiration striking at the darnedest times, Mira can always be found with a notebook at the ready. (More than once she’s been caught by the neighbors, covered in grass clippings, scribbling away atop the compost container!)

When she isn’t reading, writing, or running to keep up with the kids, she loves watching movies, blabbing with the girls, and cooking with her husband and friends.

Mira also writes Erotic Romance under the pen name Moira McTark!
